Folklore Museum Of Chania

  Overview:

A nice place, in which there are scenes representing the tradition of Crete. Scenes from the rural works and the daily life (at home, in work).

There is a big collection of textile and traditional costumes.

There are recorded, approx. sixty different samples, ways of embroidery. The visitor can also see a demonstration of some of them, from the founders of the museum, Mrs. Eirini Koumandouraki, and Mrs. Aspasia Mpikaki.
