The museum opened its gates to the public, in 1994.

Its collection mainly contain, icons, clerical vestments and ecclesiastical utensils. Among them, there is also the mechanism of the old clock of bell tower of the Metropolis, Italian manufactured (1894), by the factory of the Solare brothers. It’s probably the last available sample of it that still exists in the world.
