ACCOMMODATION
You will find the Yakinthos hotel on the highest point of Axos village near the remains of the ancient town of Oaxos, which is 45 kilometers from Rethymnon and 43 kilometers from Heraklion.

The property consists of 7 units, maisonettes and studios, which are all fully equipped with the basic facilities, including central heating.

All of the units have panoramic views of the the surrounding villages, the valley below and the sea. 

Our aim is to offer guests comfortable accommodation along with the famous Cretan hospitality in a natural majestic environment.

Maisonettes
There are three maisonettes, each of them 75 m2 the basement is 50 m2. It consists of an undivided sitting room with a fully equipped kitchen, three beds (there is enough space for another bed) and a WC. An indoor staircase leads to the first floor that has another double bedroom, with a built in wardrobe and a WC. All furniture is wooden, carved in the traditional Cretan style. The maisonettes are fully equipped with electrical appliances (2 TV sets, 2 telephones, 1 fridge, 1 electric cooker, household appliances). The verandas are 25 m2 each.

Studios
There are four studios, which cover 25 m2 each. They have a double bedroom with a built in wardrobe, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. All furniture is wooden,and again carved in the traditional Cretan style. The studios are fully equipped with electrical appliances (central heating, air condition, telephone, fridge, electric cooker, household appliances). The verandas are 15 m2.

Outside the residence Trees and a green, terraced garden surround Yakinthos hotel.

A private parking site is also available for the guests.

East of the building there is a sealed wood burning oven ready to offer to the guests some delicious homemade dishes cooked in the traditional Cretan way, in combination with George's tuneful music played on his mandolin. The friendly, hospitable  Yakintho's  family is always ready to offer an unforgettable holiday to the quests that wish to experience the original spirit of Crete.
