The location where the hotel was build used to be in the past a farm with plenty lemon trees. It can accommodate for 150 guests in a clean relaxed environment. At the Klio Self Catering Apartments they are making every possible attempt to offer services and a product up to the expectations of the most demanding customer. At the same time they encourage a relaxed atmosphere and a feeling of friendly mood. The complex consists of 46 rooms. There are two room types. An apartment suitable to accommodate for 2-4 persons: consisting of one bedroom, a sitting room, a toilet with shower, the kitchen area and a balcony or terrace. A studio suitable to accommodate for 1-2 persons: consisting of a toilet with shower, the bedroom with the kitchen area nicely laid out in an open space arrangement and a balcony or terrace. The standard facilities of all rooms are: in-room safety deposit box, air-conditioning, TV, telephone, fully-equipped kitchenette (cooking rings, fridge, kettler, utensils and toaster on request). Two rooms, one of each kind are also being purposely modified for guests using a wheel-chair. The hotel and all of its departments are fully accessible with ramps.

Walk on the resort's seafront and must see the magnificent sunset, when the purple-orange sun dives into the sea. Play with your children, building sand-towers and you would like some romantic moments leave them to the hotel's kindergarten. Adventurous tourist
So many things to do so little time. The island and the resort are ideal for holiday-makers with an urge to explore and things to do.

Must visit the city of Heraklion; go to the archaeological museum of Knossos, visit the palace of Knossos itself, visit the wild-life museum, stroll around the stratas in town find the modern coffee shops and delicious taverns to have a rest and a munch. Visit the Venetian fortress and the marina by the port. Feel the rhythm of the local's everyday life in a vivid colourful town. Last but no least do not miss the big Flea market on a Saturday morning. Play golf at a magnificent court only 9kms away from your hotel. Get on a cruise to the island of Dia or spinalonga. Rent a car and go around the island. Crete is a big island full of surprises. Drive far or close, visit a busy commercial city, or a rural traditional village, drive to a nice hot beach, or to a cooler mountain village, visit caves, monasteries, gorges, places of natural interest with a story to tell, discover your little private bay. All is possible if you have a car and Mediterranean driving skills. Spend a day in the water park. There are two near by.

On the island:
You can visit and walk for 17kms at the Samaria gorge, the island of Santorini (in 4hrs), the town of Chania, Vai Preveli palm forest, Matala and Festos and finally discover south Crete.
